Crystal Palace are reportedly set to make a move for Juventus forward Simone Zaza.
According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are lining up a swoop to sign Juventus striker Simone Zaza during the transfer window.
The Eagles splashed out to bring Connor Wickham to the club from Sunderland over the summer, whilst they also snapped up Patrick Bamford on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea - but neither have found the net yet this term.
With Alan Pardew's side pushing ahead in the top six of the Premier League, a new striker could be the difference given that the likes of Yannick Bolasie, Yohan Cabaye and Wilfried Zaha have all thrived this season.
Now, The Sun report that Palace are lining up a January move to sign Juventus striker Simone Zaza, who is expected to leave the Italian giants in the New Year.
The 24-year-old, who only joined Juve from Sassuolo over the summer, has played just seven league games for Juventus, and is behind the likes of Alvaro Morata, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala in the pecking order under Massimiliano Allegri.
It's now stated that Zaza could make his way to the Premier League, and whilst The Sun report that Norwich and Watford are pursuing the Italian international, Palace are now looking to beat their rivals to Zaza's signature in January.
It's believed that Palace are preparing a loan deal for Zaza until the end of the season - and he could help Palace realise their European dream.
