The Rams failed to return to winning ways, as they played out a 2-2 draw with Brighton at the iPro Stadium.
Manchester United-owned striker James Wilson put the visiting Seagulls in the lead midway through the first half, but Bradley Johnson's far-post header saw Derby draw level on 41 minutes.
Rajiv van La Parra put Brighton back ahead on 75 minutes, only for Chris Martin’s penalty in the 88th minute to see the game end in a draw.
Clement, who was appointed the Derby head coach in the summer, has thanked the fans for the atmosphere they created at the iPro Stadium.
Really good atmosphere in the ipro today. This helped the team a lot !— Paul Clement (@PaulClement1972) December 12, 2015
Derby are fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 38 points from 20 matches, four points behind leaders Brighton.
