Former Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion striker Nwankwo Kanu has taken to social networking site Twitter to send Watford star Odion Ighalo a congratulatory message.
Ighalo has been one of the best players for Watford so far this season and was on target for Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
The 26-year-old Nigeria international striker scored in the fourth minute of the Premier League encounter at the Stadium of Light. The former Udinese man’s goal proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Former Nigeria international striker Kanu was impressed with Ighalo’s heroics and hopes that he continues to bang in the goals for Watford.

Ighalo has scored 10 goals and created 17 chances in 16 Premier League appearances for Watford so far this season.
The former Lyn striker has a pass accuracy of 74% and a shot accuracy of 60%, and has won five headers, 24 dribbles and 13 tackles.
Watford are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 25 points from 16 matches, just four points behind fourth-place Manchester United.
