The Italian keeper made some great saves against The Addicks.
Leeds United and Charlton Athletic played out a 0-0 draw at The Valley yesterday although it was not an overtly boring game.
However they were thankful for the performance of Italian goalkeeper Marco Silvestri.
The stopper has been a much-maligned figure at Elland Road in the past but his recent form has been fantastic and yesterday he was showing off his best shot-stopping skills in London.
He made six saves in a brilliant performance with one save in particular truly catching the eye.
It was also redemption for the Italian.
He was one of the six players who pulled out of this fixture last season the day before, which infuriated then manager Neil Redfearn.
Silvestri defended himself at the time, posting a picture of a scratch along his back which ruled him out of the game, but many a fan was sceptical.
His current form however has been superb and if he can keep this up then Leeds United fans will have nothing to worry about from their often inconsistent stopper.
Here is how the fans reacted on Twitter to Silvestri's performance...
If Silvestri has an itch on his back, for gods sake no one scratch it today #LUFC— Andy LUFC (@lufc2brfc1) December 12, 2015

Even Charlton Athletic had to congratulate him for the stop on their official Twitter account:
Hopefully he can continue to perform to the best of his ability.
