Jordan Henderson reacts on Twitter to Liverpool's draw with West Brom

The Reds captain took to social media after a disappointing 2-2 draw that involved an encouraging finish.

Jordan Henderson was philosophical on Twitter after Liverpool's 2-2 draw with West Brom on Sunday afternoon.

At Anfield, the home side took an early lead but were pegged back by a resilient Baggies outfit. The Midlands side scored twice and also had another goal correctly ruled out for offside.

But Liverpool hit back late on through Divock Origi, with club captain Henderson taking to social media with the following post after full-time:

From a personal viewpoint, Henderson will be pleased to have scored for the side he captains against West Brom, before being involved in Liverpool's late equaliser against the Baggies.

The skipper could have done much better for the rest of the encounter, though, ultimately ending up trying too hard to force an outcome all by himself.

Jurgen Klopp and co will no doubt hope their late surge against West Brom inspires them to better things in the coming weeks.

After a 2-2 draw with Tony Pulis's side and a 2-1 loss at Newcastle United last week, the Reds boss, Henderson and more will know the Kop demands better.
