Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Boleyn Ground, Stoke had 53% of the possession, took 12 shots of which just three were on target, and earned seven corners.
Hosts West Ham had 47% of the possession, took 22 shots of which just nine were on target, and earned 11 corners.
Stoke are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 16 matches.
Mark Hughes’s side are six points behind Manchester United, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
The Potters will return to action next weekend when they take on Crystal Palace at the Britannia Stadium in the league.
