Everton fans react on Twitter to Funes Mori's performance against Norwich

Everton and Norwich City drew 1-1 on Saturday but what did Toffees fans make of their summer signing's contribution?

Everton drew 1-1 with Norwich City on Saturday with in-form Belgian international Romelu Lukaku scoring yet again for the Toffees.

And Everton’s back-line will have thanked the former Chelsea striker after poor defending on their part led to Norwich’s equalising goal from Wes Hoolahan.

John Stones and Ramiro Funes Mori were at the heart of Everton’s defence but after the latest performance many of the club’s fans were looking forward to the return of Phil Jagielka, who is currently side-lined with a knee ligament injury.

Not that Everton are doing badly without the most experienced centre-back, with the Toffees undefeated in the seven league games he has missed to date.

Funes Mori arrived at Goodison Park from Argentine club River Plate in the summer and he has appeared 14 times to date, but he will want to do better than he did this weekend when he could not prevent the Canaries from cancelling out Lukaku’s opener.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what Everton fans thought of Funes Mori’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
