West Ham United and Stoke City played out a goalless draw in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his verdict on his side’s draw with Stoke at home on Saturday afternoon.

The Hammers and Stoke played out a goalless draw at the Boleyn Ground in London in the Premier League.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts West Ham had 47% of the possession, took 22 shots of which just nine were on target, and earned 11 corners.

Visitors Stoke had 53% of the possession, took 12 shots of which just three were on target, and earned seven corners.

West Ham are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 16 matches.

Slaven Bilic’s side are just five points behind Manchester United, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.

The London outfit will return to action next weekend when they take on Swansea City away from home at the Stadium of Light in the league.
