The Japan international is reportedly ready to fight for his place at AC Milan.
Japanese forward Keisuke Honda will reject a potential move to the Premier League in January, with Milannews claiming that the versatile forward has made the decision to stay at AC Milan and fight for his place.
The 29-year-old, who is an experienced international player and a dead-ball expert, has only started a handful of Serie A games this season and is not favoured by new coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Despite this, Milannews claim that a source of Honda’s has stated he will stay in Italy and look to make an impression with the Rossoneri rather than look for a loan move to England.
The Japan international is under contract until the summer of 2017 and as such could reassess his options at the end of the current campaign.
Honda has only made three Serie A starts this term, with the likes of Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano getting the nod ahead of him.
