Rangers failed to make it three successive wins in the Championship, as they played out a goalless draw with Burnley at Loftus Road.
The game in London was new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first in charge of QPR.
The match also saw the return of Joey Barton to Loftus Road as a Burnley player, with the midfielder having left Rangers at the end of the 2014-15 season.
Fernandes has taken to Twitter to state that it was nice to see Barton again and has expressed his satisfaction at the final result.
Good point. Nice to see you @Joey7Barton . Lacked the last bit but lots to build on. Well done boys. Lepe collecting those points.— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) December 12, 2015
