The summer arrival from Ajax is making strides at Arsenal.
Arsenal take on Aston Villa tomorrow and will be hoping to continue their impressive form from midweek, when they defeated Olympiakos 3-0 in the Champions League - and in Greece as well.
The fact they are up against a Villa side at the foot of Premier League table will also boost confidence ahead of the tie.
With the Villa game in mind the Arsenal players have been hard at work this week, training for the tie under the watchful eye of Arsene Wenger.
The likes of Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, Petr Cech and Theo Walcott have all looked in good spirits ahead of the game as Arsenal look to pick up another three points.
But there was also a less familiar face in first-team training.
Dutch youngster Donyell Malen was also spotted in the session today.
Arsenal snapped up the 16-year-old from Ajax in the summer ahead of interest from several other big European clubs.
The forward is considered one of Holland's best young talents and can also play from both wide positions.
He has also featured for the Netherlands Under-17s side and is clearly a top talent for the future.
An appearance this weekend against Villa seems highly unlikely.
But keep an eye out, because in the future he might just become an Arsenal star.
