Queens Park Rangers teammates Charlie Austin and Alejandro Faurlin have some banter on Twitter.

Queens Park Rangers forward Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to suggest that he does not agree with teammate Alejandro Faurlin’s comments about him.

Faurlin recently told the Sky Sports FL72 podcast that Austin is the cleverest player in the QPR squad.

The English forward has jokingly suggested that he is not the cleverest player at Rangers, and has enjoyed some banter with his teammate and former QPR attacker Hogan Ephraim on Twitter.

Austin is one of the best players on the books of QPR and will be key to the team getting promoted back to the Premier League at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has scored eight goals and created 16 chances in 14 Championship appearances so far this campaign.

The former Burnley star has a pass accuracy of 64% and a shot accuracy of 42%, and has won 45 headers, eight dribbles and 12 tackles.

QPR are 13th in the Championship table at the moment with 26 points from 19 matches. The London outfit are just three points behind Cardiff City, who are currently sixth and occupy the final playoff spot.
