Sam Allardyce sends message on Twitter ahead of massive game against Watford

Allardyce deflated

Sunderland will face Watford at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce has taken to social networking site Twitter to underline the importance of this weekend’s match against Watford.

The Black Cats will face Watford at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Sunderland will head into the game against the Hornets on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

The performance of Allardyce’s side against the Gunners was encouraging, though, and the players will be confident of getting a result against Watford.

The Black Cats are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just 12 points from 15 matches.

The Black Cats are only a point behind 17th-place Bournemouth and are in a position to escape the drop to the Championship at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Watford, who got promoted from the Championship at the end of last season, currently find themselves10th in the standings with 22 points from 15 games.
