Sadio Mane has told Southampton’s official website that he feels everything is going well for him this season.
Mane has made an impressive start to the new campaign, and he has scored seven times in his 20 appearances.
The 23-year-old is now eager to break into double figures, as he feels perfectly at home playing in English football.
"Last season I scored ten goals and this season at the moment I think I am going to score more goals for my team, and why not more than ten,” Mane said.
"I think this is the dream of every player, to get better and better and I feel myself that I'm getting better also.
"Now it's my second year in England and I think everything is going well for me and I am happy. I know the league now and I think this season is more easier than last season, because this was my first year and first time in the Premier League.”
Mane made a very good impression during his first season in English football, even though he has found this campaign easier.
The Senegalese international has built a reputation as one of the most dangerous wide-men in the Premier League, and reports in the Daily Mail have seen him linked with Manchester United of late.
For now, though, Mane will be focused on helping Southampton break out of the slump they are currently experiencing.
The Saints have not won any of their last four matches, and they were guilty of missing some gilt-edged chances in their most recent 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Southampton’s next match comes against high-flying Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday.
