Report: Watford could get their hands on Juan Manuel Iturbe, but Roma want Victor Ibarbo back

The Argentine talent is apparently on the radar for Watford.

Watford have impressed back in the Premier League with some shrewd recruitment and loyalty to the right players working wonders for The Hornets.

The club have always managed to bring in top talent from Italian football, courtesy of their ownership by the Italian Pozzo family.

Now it seems they have their eyes on a top talent in Juan Manuel Iturbe.

Tutto Mercato Web are reporting that Watford have been in touch with Roma about signing the Argentine talent who was one of Europe's most wanted talents last summer. The Giallorossi are reportedly open to loaning the player to Watford in January.

There is one condition however, Watford will need to send Victor Ibarbo back. Although on loan at Watford the Colombian is still under an option to buy for Roma and they would like to take him on until the end of the season if they let Irurbe go.

Ibarbo has only featured for Watford on three occasions this season and has struggled to impose himself on the starting XI.

Iturbe would be an exciting signing for the Watford fans, who must be hopeful of the deal coming off.

The Argentine Under-20 international has previously played for Verona, River Plate, Porto and Cerro Porteno.
