Former midfielder expects misery for West Ham against Stoke.
Stoke beat Manchester City last weekend thanks to an impressive performance, and Merson believes West Ham are ripe for the picking.
The Hammers have suffered injuries to Victor Moses, Manuel Lanzini, and Winston Reid just in the last week, joining Diafra Sakho and Dmitri Payet on the sidelines.
Merson predicts a 2-1 away win for Stoke City, stating: "It was a fantastic result for Stoke the other day, and with West Ham getting all these injuries and stumbling slightly, I can see Stoke compounding the misery.
"I don't like going against them [Stoke], they're a good team, and this would be a big win for them if they want to look towards the top six or seven."
West Ham are currently seventh in the league, while Stoke are in 11th place, but just one point separates them. The Hammers have a superior goal difference by five.
At home this season West Ham's record has been poor, in their final year at Upton Park. They have won just two of seven league fixures, not helped by the fact they have scored just 12 goals in these matches. Their home record is the 14th best in the top flight.
Away from home Stoke are dangerous, winning three games on their travels. They have the seventh best away record in the league, losing just two of eight games, even though they have scored just six goals on the road.
