Watford travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland this weekend, with Quique Sanchez Flores hoping to move the Hornets closer towards the European qualification places.
They come up against a challenging Sunderland side led by Sam Allardyce, who are starting to show some sort of positive form and consistency, although they did lose to Arsenal last weekend.
The Black Cats sit second-last in the Premier League table, with 12 points from 15 games, and Allardyce will consider Watford a beatable team given they only won promotion to the Premier League ahed doc this term.
However, the Hornets have displayed a high level of suitability for the top flight, with two fantastic goalscorers in Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo regularly hitting the back of the net, and a solid defence which has allowed just 16 goals in 15 games.
There is one player who is still dividing the minds of many Watford fans though, with Jose Manuel Jurado yet to live up to his reputation since arriving at Vicarage Road.
He was a personal signing by Flores, but has looked off the pace in the Premier League. He did put in his best performance of the campaign against Norwich City last time out, and will be hoping to improve upon his role this weekend on Wearside.
He has undoubted talent, and ahead of the game, Jurado took to his personal Twitter account to send a message to Watford’s fans urging the Hornets to keep achieving their goals for the campaign.
