The Tottenham Hotspur striker was congratulating his team-mates on a trio of firsts.

Tottenham Hotspur secured top spot in their Europa League group last night in some style. They punished a lacklustre Monaco side in a 4-1 win, which saw Erik Lamela bag a hat-trick and Tom Carroll score his first goal for the club.

It was an even more impressive performance considering the players that Tottenham left out.

Mauricio Pochettino decided the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane had earned a break and it meant a chance for talented 18-year-old Josh Onomah.

After the game he received many plaudits for his first start for the club, and his first 90 minutes.

Today, a little late to the parade, has seen Tottenham Hotspur's star striker joining the chorus.

Harry Kane sent out this tweet earlier today congratulating Lamela on his hat-trick, Carroll on his goal and Onomah on his impressive first-team debut:

Onomah will of course do well to look up to Kane as an inspiration.

The England striker has worked wonders since breaking into the first-team at Spurs and Onomah will hope to one day emulate his team-mate.
