Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Adam le Fondre has admitted to Sky Sports that he is disappointed with the playing time that he has got at the club so far this season.
“I've been disappointed that I haven't played more,” the 29-year-old told Sky Sports. “I’ve been disappointed not to start more games.
“But with the gaffer setting up with one up front and Benik playing it was down to me to dislodge him. I've done that and hopefully that can keep going if I start scoring goals and winning games.”
Le Fondre has scored three goals and created 13 chances in 15 Championship appearances for Wolves so far this season.
The former Rotherham United striker has a pass accuracy of 75% and a shot accuracy of 61%, and has won 14 headers, two dribbles and one tackle.
Wolves are 14th in the Championship table at the moment with 24 points from 19 matches.
Kenny Jackett’s side are currently eight points above the relegation zone and five points behind sixth-place Cardiff City.
Wolves will return to action this evening when they take on Nottingham Forest at Molineux in the Championship.
