Tottenham are reportedly still pursuing Walsall left back Rico Henry.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are retaining an interest in signing Walsall left back Rico Henry, but have yet to make a bid for him.
The former MK Dons star has made a seamless transition to life in the Premier League, and having seen the 19-year-old thrive in the top flight, it appears that Spurs are once again looking to the Football League for up-and-coming English talent.
The Daily Mail report that Spurs are continuing their pursuit of Walsall left back Rico Henry, but they have yet to make their first bid for the defender.
Henry, 18, has come up through the ranks at Walsall, and is hoping to follow other Walsall youth graduates such as Scott Dann and Troy Deeney to the Premier League.
The youngster has become a key player for the Saddlers this season, scoring twice in 21 appearances for the League One outfit - and having been compared to Ashley Cole by some, Henry is attracting Premier League interest.
The Daily Mail state that Liverpool and Manchester City are watching Henry's progress, but also report that Tottenham are monitoring him closely. After Alli's success, it would be little surprise to see Spurs make a move for yet another Football League teenager, and Henry could be the man to make the move to White Hart Lane.
