Predicted Sunderland and Watford line-ups

Here is how we predict Sunderland and Watford will line up this weekend:

To be played on Saturday 12th December 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Stadium of Light, Sunderland

Odds: Sunderland 9/5, Draw 9/4, Watford 6/4

Sunderland welcome Watford to the Stadium of Light on Saturday with the Black Cats eager to get back to winning ways after losing 3-1 to Arsenal last time out.

That defeat followed an impressive 2-0 victory at home to Stoke City so Sam Allardyce’s men will be quietly confident of getting one over the Hornets when they come to town.

That said, Watford are looking good this season and their 2-0 win against Norwich City was their second on the bounce, leaving them 10th in the table with 22 points as things stand.

How Sunderland would love that total, but for now they will have to make do with 12 as they bid to climb out of the relegation zone and stay the right side of the line.

In early team news, Sunderland are without Seb Larsson due to a knee injury while Lee Cattermole is unlikely to feature because of a back problem.

Striker Jermain Defoe has a hamstring injury but he is rated at 75 per cent to feature.

As for Watford, they are without Sebastian Prodl, Joel Ekstrand, Tommy Hoban and Valon Behrami so with all that in mind here is how we expect the two sides to line up.
