The former Tottenham boss has been discussing the West Brom forward.
Indeed, the former Tottenham head coach thinks the West Brom should stay off Twitter and concentrate on his performances with the Baggies.
If Berahino wants a move to London or anywhere else in the Premier League, only his football is powerful enough to do the talking, the pundit believes.
That's why Redknapp told the Standard on Thursday afternoon: "What Saido Berahino should do is shut up and start performing. ‘Liking’ Twitter posts suggesting he will leave West Brom for Tottenham or Chelsea in January makes him look bad.
"He can’t get in West Brom’s team at the moment. If he starts scoring goals, people will take notice of him in the best way rather than every time he opens his mouth spouting off about what he’s going to do next."
It's a typically old-fashioned view from Redknapp but does he have a point?
One thing Redknapp is right about is the fact the West Brom forward will only impress his suitors with performances and, considering the attention that surrounded his links to Spurs in August, Tottenham especially may think twice about going for the 22-year-old in January if circumstances aren't right.
A run of form at just the right time going into the transfer window could make all the difference for Berahino. Unless, of course, he is perfectly happy to stay at West Brom and his Twitter antics are just for show.
