Glenn Hoddle feels that Harry Kane will be the difference between Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco

Tottenham Hotspur can win their Europa League group by beating Monaco on Thursday evening.

Glenn Hoddle has predicted on Twitter that Harry Kane will be the difference for Tottenham Hotspur against Monaco on Thursday evening.

Spurs are set to host the Ligue 1 outfit as they look to top their Europa League group.

And Hoddle feels that Kane’s cutting edge could make him the match-winner at White Hart Lane.

Mauricio Pochettino seemed to suggest that Kane would be rested for the fixture in midweek, but he could be utilised from the bench.

Tottenham have played Kane in every match they have taken in so far this season, and they are reportedly keen for him to have a well-earned break.

There is little pressure on Spurs in the match, as they have already qualified from their Europa League group.

When Tottenham and Monaco met earlier in the group stage the match was drawn 1-1. On that occasion, Erik Lamela opened the scoring, before Stephan El Shaarawy netted a late equaliser.
