HITC Sport understands Luton face a battle to keep hold of in-demand midfielder Cameron McGeehan in January.
McGeehan has been a standout performer for Luton so far this season, with a number of stellar showings put in for the club in League Two.
The 20-year-old all-action midfielder has scored eight goals and laid on four assists in 22 games this season and his performances have alerted clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Former Fulham and Chelsea youngster McGeehan came through the ranks at Norwich City and captained the side to their FA Youth Cup success in 2012-13, scoring in both legs of the final against Chelsea.
However, McGeehan never broke into the Norwich first-team and had two loan spells at Luton and one at Cambridge before joining the Hatters on a permanent basis last summer.
McGeehan has gone on to establish himself as a key player at Luton and is regarded as one the best young midfielders in the lower leagues.
Luton are keen to keep hold of McGeehan, but are bracing themselves for interest in the player in the January transfer window.
