Arsenal left nothing to chance last night in their crucial Champions League fixture against Olympiakos.
Manager Arsene Wenger had clearly learned his lesson after benching Petr Cech for David Ospina in the first leg at The Emirates, and put out his strongest side.
This was still without key injured players, but the team was strong enough to win away at the Greek side higher than the required margin.
Olivier Giroud scored a hat-trick to ensure Arsenal qualified for the last 16, with the Gunners on top of the game from the front to the back.
The calm presence of Petr Cech at the back gave Arsenal the confidence to play their football, and showed what has lacking in a nervous performance at The Emirates in which they lost 3-2 at the beginning of the competition.
While the fact he was the club's only summer signing has been much criticised, his value is clear to see, which is why it was so frustrating that Wenger benched him at home.
Fortunately Arsenal can put that all behind them now, and look forward to their last 16 tie, where they will be aiming to avoid Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, and land a tie against either Wolfsburg or Zenit St Petersburg instead.
As well as instilling confidence in the team, Cech has Arsenal fans believing in him. Here is a look at how supporters reacted to the performance of the former Chelsea ace...
