The England youth international has been in great form at the Ricoh Arena this season.
Adam Armstrong was allowed to join Coventry City on loan at the start of the season until January, where he has been a revelation.
Newcastle fans have been left thoroughly impressed with the performances of Armstrong at his loan club as to date he has 13 goals in 17 games for the Rico Arena-based club.
Now he has been showcasing his excellent ability on the training ground as well.
He scored an audacious lob from the halfway line against Coventry's first-team stopper Reice Charles-Cook to the amazement of his team-mates and coaches.
Coventry have now shared the video of the goal, which was scored last week, on their official YouTube page:
That is some goal and Newcastle clearly have a big talent on their hands.
With his loan deal ending in under a month it will be interesting to see whether he is taken back to St James' Park or given the chance to remain with Coventry for the rest of the season.
