Matt Le Tissier has told Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, which was broadcast on December 5th, that West Ham United winger Victor Moses has the potential to be one of the best players in the Premier League.
Moses has made a big impact at Upton Park since arriving on loan from Chelsea, with his rampaging style proving to be a good outlet for Slaven Bilic's side.
However, Le Tissier has expressed his frustrations with the Nigerian international for failing to fulfill his potential, due to his inconsistency.
"When this boy is on, he’s as good a winger as there is in the league," the former Southampton forward said.
"The problem that everyone has had with him is that we don’t always see it on a consistent basis.
"Yet, when you see what he can do, he’s never found a home for himself and you do wonder why he’s not doing it on a more consistent basis.
"When this boy is hot, he’s a handful for any defender in the Premier League."
Moses built a reputation for himself with Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic, before moving to Chelsea back in 2012.
Since he has been at Stamford Bridge, things have been difficult for the 24-year-old as he has never been able to settle.
Moses has been farmed out on loan for the past three seasons, with Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham all willing to take the rapid wide-man on a temporary basis.
Moses has shown his class in flashes during all of these stints, but he has failed to find a permanent home.
Moses has made 12 appearances for West Ham this season, and scored once during this time, but he is currently out injured after picking up a hamstring problem in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
