Have West Ham suffered another injury blow?
Co-chairman David Sullivan's son Jack Sullivan revealed via his Twitter account that Reid has been injured, and would be out for the rest of 2015.
He attempted to put a positive spin on the news, but admitted it was 'very bad'. The club are yet to confirm it officially.
Very bad news... Reid Injured in training 4-6 weeks with hamstring. But some players will return faster than anticipated due to hard work— Jack Sullivan (@jsullivanwhu) December 9, 2015
Reid has been vital for West Ham this season once again, and he would add to a rapidly increasing injury list at the club.
Dmitri Payet, Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini are among those to suffer injuries in recent weeks, and the club are looking like limping into the transfer window in January in dire need of reinforcements.
They managed an impressive 0-0 draw away to Manchester United at the weekend, but Reid was key to keeping a clean sheet, and replacing his impact on the side will not be easy.
