Lukaku has developed into the complete forward this season, with his performances catching the eye of all observers.
Lukaku scored his 14th goal in 19 Everton matches during the Toffees’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
And Cleverley said: “Rom’s in great form and is a pleasure to play with at the minute. Every time he gets the ball, we feel like he is going to score.
“He’s massive for us and I’m really enjoying playing with him.”
Cleverley made his Premier League return to Everton’s team after injury in the match against Palace.
The central midfielder has been ruled out since August, but he made his first league start after returning to fitness, and he impressed during the contest.
Cleverley’s energy was key for Everton, but he was not able to guide the side to victory.
A Scott Dann header had given Palace the lead in the match, but Lukaku tapped-in from close-range to rescue a point.
The draw has moved Everton up to ninth place in the Premier League table, while Palace occupy sixth spot.
