The Everton forward scored his 50th goal for the club against Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
The Belgian striker scored his 14th goal in all competitions against Crystal Palace on Monday night, as he continued his impressive goalscoring form this season.
That strike was his 50th in 100 games for the Blues, a ratio of a goal every two games, which is an impressive record given he is yet to reach his 23rd birthday.
And Howard says that it comes from the hard work he puts in on the training ground, anticipating more goals to come in future.
"It’s a fantastic ratio, you will be hard pressed to better that,” he told evertonfc.com.
"It’s good that he is in the form he is in for us, not just this season. In training, he works his tail off to better himself.”
"He enjoys scoring goals and it’s that youthful exuberance that we love about him. There’s many more to come - I’m sure of that."
Given how impressive Lukaku has been this season, he is surely going to be challenging for the Premier League Golden Boot come the end of the campaign.
Only Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy currently stands ahead of him, but now that his run has came to an end, it will be interesting to see if he can maintain his goalscoring form for the rest of the season.
There is sure to be other competition, though, with Tottenham’s Harry Kane likely to challenge, while Manchester City's Sergio Aguero is always a regular marksman when fully fit.
