The Belgian has been in fine form for the Blues so far this season.
The striker scored his 50th goal in 100 Everton appearances against Crystal Palace on Monday to continue his fine form this season.
The Belgian forward has 14 goals in all competitions so far, with 11 of those coming in just 15 Premier League games.
That return puts him second in the race for the Golden Boot behind leader Jamie Vardy of Leicester City. Lukaku isn’t getting distracted though; instead saying he is focused on adding to his tally.
“I always had one out of two so you always put your standard there but if you can do better you have to do better,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“I am privileged to be in this position but I need to keep working, working, keeping my head down and staying focused on the next game.”
With Everton heavily reliant on Lukaku to get the goals for the side this season, the pressure is firmly on his shoulders to continue his fine early season form.
While he has 14 goals in all competitions, the second highest scorer in the squad is Ross Barkley with seven, while Arouna Kone is third with five to his name.
If Lukaku were to hit a dry spell or pick up an injury, there is a fear that Roberto Martinez’s side could struggle to find the back of the net.
Lukaku, though, says he is not feeling the pressure and is instead taking things game by game.
“I don’t feel the pressure now because I am in a flying high moment,” he added.
“When the game is over I look at it the next day and then I focus on the next game. I don’t really look back to the past, I always try to look forward and live day by day.”
