Nick Powell is relishing being part of the Manchester United first team set up.

Nick Powell is enjoying a second lease of life at Manchester United - and could have a major role to play over the next 24 hours.

The former England under-21 international was a surprise inclusion in United's travelling squad to Germany ahead of their crucial Champions League tie against Wolfsburg.

The Red Devils need a victory in Germany to be assured of qualification, and if not, must hope PSV lose to CSKA Moscow.

Powell is pictured above along with Paddy McNair, who started at the weekend against West Ham at Old Trafford.

After a bright start to his career at Old Trafford, Powell has been very much a forgotten figure, and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, this is a chance for him to revitalise his prospects, if given the chance.

He has impressed in the under-21s in recent weeks, and has made the trip after several injuries to first team stars including Wayne Rooney, Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Fellow youngsters Sean Goss, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, and Guillermo Varela have also made the trip.
