Another week, another record smashed by Jamie Vardy!
Some times, players like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo go through a season and pretty much break a new record every single game.
Vardy already managed to break Ruud van Nistelrooy's decade old record of scoring in 11 consecutive games in the Premier League by scoring against Manchester United.
And then he had a chance to break an 85-year-old record by scoring in 12 consecutive games when Leicester faced Swansea City.
However, he unfortunately was unable to bag himself a goal despite having three really great chances to score against Garry Monk's side.
Though he didn't score, he did manage to break himself another record and he didn't even have to score to break this one!
13 - Jamie Vardy has scored or assisted in 13 consecutive PL games, beating @StanCollymore's run of 12 set in March-Aug 1995. Relentless.— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) December 7, 2015
That really is a great record, though there is a big chance that a certain Arsenal player who is in sizzling form might be able to snatch Vardy's new record...
What do you think? Could Mesut Ozil nab Jamie Vardy's record or will he be keeping that one as long as Stan Collymore did?
