Crystal Palace secured a 1-1 draw with Everton on Monday evening.
Palace travelled to Goodison Park on Monday evening, and did exceptionally well to come away with a 1-1 draw against Everton.
A Scott Dann goal gave Palace the lead against the run of play, before Romelu Lukaku netted the equaliser five minutes later, although the Toffees should have taken the lead much earlier in the tie.
Lukaku himself hid the woodwork twice to keep the score a 0-0, before he managed to put the ball in the back of the net, whilst Wayne Hennessey made a series of impressive saves in the Palace goal - especially one from a powerful drive from Tom Cleverley.
Following the game, midfielder James McArthur sent a message to thank Hennessey for his work in securing the draw against a Everton team who were going all out for the win.
Hennessey himself also reacted to the result, praising his team for picking up a point against a strong Toffees side.
Yannick Bolasie, Yohan Cabaye and Connor Wickham also sent messages on Twitter at the end of the game, all referencing the good point won away from home against an Everton team who have ambitions to qualify for Europe this season.
Tough game tonight but a good point and up to 6th. Big up dannsy yet again. Safe travels home to… https://t.co/MBEOqsZims— Connor Wickham (@ConnorWickham10) December 7, 2015
