The Arsenal trio topped the passing stats by some distance.
With injuries having decimated Arsenal’s squad of late, there was a worry that the Gunners' season could be derailed.
However, they enjoyed a return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon as they managed to secure a much-needed 3-1 win over Sunderland at the Emirates.
That game saw their infamous passing style at its finest, with Arsene Wenger's men registering more passes and more accurate passes in that game than any other team this past weekend.
|Team||Total Pass||Accurate Pass|
In truth, it was the Welshman who enjoyed the best stats as he made more passes than any other player in the Premier League with 124, while he also enjoyed more accurate passes than any other player with 113.
He wasn’t the only Arsenal star to dominate though, with his teammates Flamini and Ozil not far behind him.
The two players registered 107 passes in total in the game, although the Frenchman made 103 accurate passes compared to Ozil’s tally of 84.
To put it into context, the nearest non-Arsenal player in the standings was Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva, who made 86 passes with 70 of those proving to be accurate.
An impressive passing display from Arsenal’s trio then, who the Gunners will be hoping can dominate the passing stats more frequently as they look to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
