Aston Villa winger Adama Traore has taken to Facebook to state that he will show fans what he can do when he is given a regular chance in the first team.
Villa are struggling at the wrong end of the Premier League table, and sit bottom with just six points from their first 15 games of the season after a 1-1 draw at Southampton on Saturday.
Much of the criticism aimed at Villa this term has been over their summer signings, with many suggesting that the players snapped up just aren't good enough.
Players such as Joleon Lescott, Jordan Veretout and Jordan Ayew have taken a while to get going for Villa, but should prove to be solid players for the club over the coming years.
One player who has flashed potential in limited playing time is winger Adama Traore, who joined Villa from Barcelona having come up through the ranks with the Catalan giants.
The 19-year-old has excited the Villa supporters with his blistering pace and impressive dribbling ability, but he has yet to start a Premier League game, making just five substitute appearances so far.
After just 91 minutes of Premier League action, Traore has now taken to Facebook to post a video showcasing his ability from his time at Barcelona, before promising fans that he will show what he can do when he plays on a more regular basis.
"Thanks to all the people who support and believe in me, very soon I will have enough minutes of games to show what I can do on the pitch," wrote Traore earlier today.
Manager Remi Garde needs a spark in his Villa side if they are to avoid relegation, and whilst be may be raw, Traore could be the man to give Villa a boost in the final third this season.
