The Reds were beaten 2-0 by Newcastle United on Sunday.
The German has overseen a dramatic improvement since replacing Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, with several impressive victories under his belt.
They have beaten Manchester City and Chelsea this season, as well as an impressive 6-1 victory over Southampton in thee Capital One Cup.
Sunday saw them beaten 2-0 by relegation threatened Newcastle United though, and speaking before that defeat, Hoddle says Klopp still has a lot to learn about his side.
“I still think he has some stuff to learn about his team, he’d agree with that,” he told BT Sport.
“I think he’s great for the Premier League, he’s refreshing, he’s always got a smile on his face and he knows the game. The players will love him more and more.”
If there is one thing that Klopp has probably learned at this point in his Anfield reign, it is that his squad may not be quite good enough.
The loss to Newcastle demonstrated that, with the likes of Christian Benteke and Joe Allen coming into the side and failing to impress.
That is something that can be rectified though, with him surely eyeing the January transfer window as the time to try to improve his squad with the chance of Europe at the end of the season still firmly in their grasp.
