Alan Pardew's men may be playing away from home, but they could well be considered favourites based on their previous trips to Merseyside.
The Eagles have won on their last four trips to Liverpool, having bagged two wins a piece against both the Reds and Roberto Martinez's side.
Having twice spoilt the party at Anfield - with the club winning in Steven Gerrard's final home game for Liverpool last season, and then the defender's winner handing Jurgen Klopp his first defeat as manager this term - Dann tried to explain why Palace have been so successful in that part of the country recently, and revealed that he hoped that the run would continue against the Toffees (via Evening Standard).
"We have enjoyed some good wins up there over the last couple of years and hopefully we can carry that on," he said.
"We seem to turn it on in these types of games. The way we have been playing away from home has been pleasing but we know it will be a tough game," he added.
The form of Alan Pardew's side has been one of the many surprises that have presented themselves in the Premier League this season. A fantastic set of results away from home - with four victories in their six games away from Selhurst Park - have helped the club to seventh place in the division, some four places clear of Everton.
However, Martinez's men are only a point behind their opponents, and will have been boasted by booking their place in the semi-final of the Capital One Cup last week.
