Big Sam's social media presence grew by a tweet on Monday afternoon.
Indeed, Big Sam apologised for his recent lack of 'Twitter action' and said he is 'loving the support' afforded to him at the Stadium of Light right now.
Hi guys, sorry for my lack of Twitter action recently!! Been busy…but loving the support I am receiving in my role at @SunderlandAFC— Sam Allardyce (@OfficialBigSam) December 7, 2015
And the 61-year-old has certainly done a great job at Sunderland so far. Few doubted whether he would be able to get a side at the bottom of the Premier League table sorted out - that's Allardyce's strength.
Big Sam, too, will love the support shown by Sunderland fans. With the Black Cats, Allardyce can be cherished for what he can produce while working with struggling teams.
At West Ham United, where the demands were a little different, Allardyce's relationship with the fans grew worse and worse.
There is no sign of that at the Stadium of Light, however, and Allardyce's side are now only a few points away from the mid-table pack of the Premier League. Things won't be easy, naturally, especially as Sunderland are still currently second bottom. But you'd back Big Sam over anyone in the fight against relegation.
