Well-known Great Britain Olympic swimmer Ross Davenport has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Derby County’s failure to win against Sheffield Wednesday away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Derby played out a goalless draw with promotion-chasing Wednesday at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship.
Davenport was following the match, and although he was pleased with the point, he has suggested that Rams head coach Paul Clement should drop Tom Ince.
Fair point in the end from #dcfc. We did play play the first 65 mins with 10 men! Would rather see Mikkel Beck on the right instead of Ince!— Ross Davenport (@SwimmerRoss) December 6, 2015
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Hillsborough Stadium, visitors Derby had 49% of the possession, took eight shots of which two were on target, and earned two corners.
Hosts Wednesday had 51% of the possession, took 10 shots of which just one was on target, and earned five corners.
Derby are third in the Championship table at the moment with 37 points from 19 matches, just four points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
