4-2-3-1 with no Silva: Predicted Manchester City line-up to play Monchengladbach

Here is how we predict Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach will line up this week:

To be played on Tuesday 8th December 2015 at 19:45. Venue: City of Manchester Stadium,

Odds: Man City 8/13, Draw 16/5, Borussia MG 4/1

Manchester City welcome German club Borussia Monchengladbach to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday evening as Manuel Pellegrini’s side attempts to end the group stage with a victory.

The Blues are currently second in Group D and a win later this week will be no guarantee that they finish in top spot, with Juventus two points ahead of them as things stand.

The Italian side take on bottom club Sevilla on the same evening and it would be a big surprise if the Turin giants let top spot slip at the death. But that will not stop City going all out for a victory of their own.

In early team news, City are without Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguero while midfielder Fernando is a minor doubt but should recover.

As for Monchengladbach, they must make do without Alvaro Dominguez, Andre Hahn, Patrick, Herrmann, Nico Schulz and Martin Stranzl.
