Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has said that there are three qualities that he wants to bring to Queens Park Rangers at his first press conference.
Hasselbaink was unveiled as QPR boss today, and he says that he wants to bring honesty, stability and excitement to Loftus Road.
JFH: I'm going to bring honesty, stability and hopefully some excitement. #WelcomeJimmy— QPR FC (@QPRFC) December 7, 2015
Hasselbaink inherits QPR’s squad from Neil Warnock, who was placed in temporary charge after Chris Ramsey’s sacking.
Ramsey parted company with the R’s last month, and it has taken the London-based side a long time to settle upon their new manager.
However, Hasselbaink was said to have been their first choice from the start and now they have finally landed their preferred man.
The former Chelsea striker inherits a squad which has improved in recent weeks.
Warnock has made QPR a much more solid unit during his time at the helm, and he helped them beat Reading in their latest outing.
QPR are currently in 12th place in the Championship – three points away from the play-off spaces.
Hasselbaink’s first fixture in charge of QPR comes on Saturday, with his side set to take on Burnley.
