The midfielder has been a key component in Leicester City's rise to the top of the Premier League table.
Kante has former an impressive partnership with Danny Drinkwater in the Foxes midfield this season, playing a key role in their rise to the top of the Premier League table.
He was in fine form once again on Saturday, as he put in an all action performance to guide his side to a 3-0 victory.
Murphy was full of praise for him, saying he is looking like an incredible find by the club this summer.
“He was absolutely phenomenal. He’s been brilliant all season, but because of the other two [Vardy and Mahrez] he’s gone under the radar,” he told BBC Match of the Day.
“He’s good at all aspects of midfield play but he’s also got that tenacity, and that willingness to get after people and win the ball back. That’s crucial when you’ve got those attacking players around you.
“The only thing missing is goals, but I’m sure that will come if he keeps getting in good areas. He looks an incredible find.”
It certainly was a busy afternoon from Kante, who excelled both defensively and offensively in the game.
He managed three tackles throughout, and won all of them, while he also managed four interceptions, again winning all of them.
He also enjoyed 51 passes in total, with 39 proving to be successful, a pass success percentage of 76%.
Leicester fans, and Claudio Ranieri in particular, will be hoping he can continue that kind of form with struggling Chelsea up next for the side.
