The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Scottish champions but the club have denied the reports.
Celtic have denied reports linking Nir Biton with a move away from Parkhead next summer.
The midfielder's agent was claimed to have said Biton will leave the Bhoys for at least £10 million and move to the English Premier League.
But Celtic have now moved to deny that speculation on their official website - and rather swiftly - quoting the agent himself suggesting he didn't say anything of the sort.
The problem for Celtic fans, however, is that the rumour sounds all too familiar and believable. Indeed, the Hoops have a history of selling on some of their biggest players for big profits.
Victory Wanyama, Virgil van Dijk and Fraser Forster are just some examples and many supporters fear the bank balance will once again be prioritised if the opportunity to sell Biton really does present itself.
The 24-year-old has made a good impression at Parkhead - is a Premier League move a realistic option for the Israel midfielder?
Here's how Celtic fans reacted on Twitter to the Biton transfer speculation. Despite the club's denials, they certainly seem convinced it's at least a possibility...
So, Biton looks like being sold in the summer? Shockerooni... We've got players to cover him but the constant rebuilding is pissin me off.

@jaggytooth new contract gets Celtic more money and Biton knows that. Same back in the day with Stan Petrov. Sad to see them go but reality.

Why would Biton want to stay? He's at a club showing absolutely no ambition except to the bank balance
