Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Rotherham United 2-1 in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Wolverhampton Wanderers players have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the win against Rotherham United away from home on Saturday afternoon.

Kenny Jackett’s side returned to winning ways in the Championship with a 2-1 success over Rotherham at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

James Henry put visiting Wolves in the lead in the fifth minute, only for Joe Newell to restore parity for the home team on 18 minutes.

Wolves went ahead on the stroke of half time through Danny Batth and maintained their 2-1 lead for the rest of the game.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, Wolves had 47% of the possession, took 12 shots of which five were on target, and earned seven corners.

Jackett’s side are 14th in the Championship table at the moment with 24 points from 19 matches, just five points behind sixth-place Cardiff City.
