This is a rather stunning stat... great work Ryan!
Since Mark Hughes took over from Tony Pulis, Stoke City have gone from launching balls to the big man to playing rather attractive football.
It does feel rather weird to watch Stoke City running rings around sides like Manchester City with fancy footwork and lovely passing.
While the likes of Marco Arnautovic, Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri have been performing well and taking the plaudits, one man has been keeping things tight at the back... very tight indeed.
When he's not sweating all over Diego Costa, Ryan Shawcross is putting in some properly mammoth performances for Mark Hughes' side.
And he did it again during Stokes 2-0 defeat over Man City. In fact, it turns out that the 28-year-old has a pretty impressive stat this season:

That really is one rather incredible statistic! Not bad for a bloke many think is just about lumping it forward and snapping a few legs in the process.
We wonder if England manager Roy Hodgson will have his eyes on Shawcross for the rest of the season before he names his Euro 2016 squad.
