Leicester City's beat Swansea City 3-0 in their latest outing.
Leicester were rampant at the Liberty Stadium, as they put in another highly impressive performance.
But it was his side’s willingness to work as a team that most encouraged Ranieri.
Jamie Vardy had an opportunity to shoot late on in the contest and try to make sure he scored in 12 consecutive Premier League matches for Leicester - but the striker instead played through Riyad Mahrez, to allow the Algerian winger to complete his hat-trick.
And Ranieri is quoted as saying: "Everyone talks about Vardy scoring but now Mahrez has done so.
"It was so pleasing to see that when Jamie had a chance to score, he passed to Mahrez so he could have his hat-trick.
"It was like giving him a penalty kick, it is a good link between them."
Vardy and Mahrez have scored a combined total of 24 goals so far this season and the pair have linked up to devastating effect.
The Foxes have built the foundations of their success around the pair’s attacking talents and they are now the top scorers in the Premier League.
Leicester’s start has defied all expectations and Ranieri will hope their team spirit continues to stay strong for the rest of the season.
Leicester’s next match comes against Chelsea and, if they are able to win that fixture, they would move 20 points clear of the current Premier League champions.
