Leeds players old and new took to social media to wish the club's physio of 14 years all the best ahead of his next move.
Physio Harvey Sharman said goodbye to Leeds United after spending 14 years at Elland Road and was given a great send off after the Whites beat Hull City 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
On social media, meanwhile, a number of players sent their best wishes, including those who are no longer with the Yorkshire side.
Indeed, former Leeds captain Stephen Warnock sent a message to Sharman on Twitter, suggesting he will be heavily missed by United.
Best of luck to Harvey Sharman @LUFC Physio who is moving on after 14 years! A great guy, best of luck in America. Will be missed a lot.— Stephen Warnock (@StephenWarnock3) December 5, 2015
And another ex-Leeds man replied to Warnock with similar sentiments. Target man Matt Smith, now at Fulham, praised the physio for being one of the best around.
Spot on. A top top man & undoubtedly one of the best in the business Will be sorely missed Warny! https://t.co/9AVQFU66OG— Matt Smith (@mattjpsmith) December 5, 2015
Over to current Leeds players, summer signing Stuart Dallas was happy to give Sharman a winning send-off and thanked him for everything he has done for the winger despite only joining the Whites ahead of this season.
Great to be able 2 send Harvey off on a high.Hope u and your family have a brilliant time out there. Thanks for all u have done for me #lufc— stuart dallas (@dallas_stuart) December 5, 2015
Finally, Charlie Taylor and Alex Mowatt completed the Twitter/Instagram round-up, with both paying tribute to Sharman, Taylor in particular stating the fact he would probably still be injured were it not for the physio.
Leeds visit Charlton Athletic for their next Championship clash.
Probably wouldn't have been back so soon and out there playing today if it wasn't for this man.… https://t.co/nWLyjoq22e— charlie taylor (@charlietaylor09) December 5, 2015
