The 28-year-old Hull midfielder mingled with the former Leeds man ahead of Saturday afternoon's Championship clash.
Robert Snodgrass came out on the losing side as Hull City traveled to Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.
But it hopefully didn't spoil his return to Elland Road from a personal standpoint and he caught up with a fellow ex-Leeds man in Noel Whelan before the game.
Indeed, the pair were pictured together ahead of United's clash with Steve Bruce's side, with Snodgrass later coming on as a substitute for several minutes against his former club.
The day belonged to Leeds not Hull, however, as Steve Evans' side produced a terrific first-half performance to beat the Tigers 2-1. The visitors scored in the second half and threatened a comeback but there was too much work to do to overturn their first-half deficit.
Chris Wood and Tom Adeyemi - two players who have received plenty of criticism of late - scored for the Whites and restored some pride for Leeds at Elland Road.
Next up for Leeds is a trip to Charlton Athletic, while Snodgrass's Hull host Bolton in the Championship. A day to remember for Evans' team - one to forget for Bruce's charges.
