Nottingham Forest fans react on Twitter to Matt Mills brace v Fulham

The defender was in great form v The Cottagers today.

For the second week in a row Nottingham Forest have scored three goals in one game and no, this is not a wind-up.

Previously Forest have struggled for regular goals this term but their latest three-goal haul came in a 3-0 trumping of Fulham at the City Ground.

Matt Mills scored a brace wither side of Chris O'Grady's opportunistic finish as Forest followed up their 3-1 win over Reading last week with style.

Dougie Freedman can certainly breathe a sigh of relief at the moment.

There were a string of excellent performances. Eric Lichaj and Dani Pinillos were superb whilst David Vaughan was excellent in the second-half.

But Mills was the hero.

He has had his moments this season but today was a fine display that had the home fans purring.

The centre-back's two goals were pivotal to the end result and he came within an inch or two of scoring an impressive hat-trick - no wonder Neil Lennon was playing him as a striker at Bolton Wanderers last season.

Here is how Twitter reacted to their unlikely heroes goalscoring antics...
